me again...I just put on a 75 shot of NX...I wanted to ask what ya'll thought of NGK plugs...they seem to be the popular choice around....since I have to replace my platinum ones. The track opens this weekend...was thinking 2 or three passes with spray...exactly how fragile is my stock clutch? What kind is reccommended if I do indeed have to change it out?

NGK plugs seem to be what everyone else is running, so I just installed a set in my car September 28.
And Saturday, I get to replace them again because they got fouled by a bottle of 104 Octane Boost (the black bottle)
TR55 are the stock heat range and TR6 is one step colder (recommended for Nitrous)

NGK TR6's are great. Don't worry about your clutch, with an '02 you have the new Z06 clutch. It grips well. I have been beating on mine with ET Streets and N20 with no problems at all. This includes some 4500K RPM dumps
It's the rear end that is the weak link....do you have a TA cover with stud kit? If not get one. Even some stock LS1 have craked their rears. On street tires it's not as much of a concern because your tires will break loose before the cluch does and hopefully your clutch will slip a tad so you don't loose the rear. I am saving for a 12 bolt as we speak to hold the new power I am planning.

I was going to go with the stage three starspec clutch...and yep the 12 bolt is on the list, just a tad down the line still...gears are next...I am thinkin 3.73's to give myself time to shift still when the nx kicks in...I know guys runnin 4.10's and end up in fifth at the end of the quarter...that is a lot of shiftin...I did end up with the NGK TR 6's...talk about a pain in the pooper to install...
