Octane boosters are okay. All they are is common commericial chemicals, most of which are used in paint applications.
Here is a link to some interesting reading, scroll to the bottom, it tells you how to get several gallons of octane booster for the same price as 16 oz of the same stuff in a fancy bottle.

If your running 93 like you should be in our area.. octane booster is a waste of money.
if they say 7 points, its more like .7
if you have a full tank of 93 and add it youl get 93.7
save that 10 bux towards something that actually helps you
