this is pretty common on a t-top f body without a cage or subframe connectors even.

i've noticed the connected cars tend to be much quieter, not going to be totally quiet though with that many rubber seals as the air pressure gets pretty high. my 94 was really pretty quiet at 155 even, but a couple of my buddies were terribly noisey over 130. two of them bolted on connectors and they are much quieter due to the less flex for the roof seals.

I topped out my 94 and i have no t-tops and let me tell u its plently loud....well not that loud but at 155mph it sounds like the window is open a crack.......there is no way to keep it quiet.....not unless our car doors had metal going around the top of the door to completely seal it like on a cavalier for example.

Maybe tightening the window within the door might take up some extra slack???

Thumbs down

Look in your rearview mirror, it's probably the police car siren you hear.

ANYONE THAT DRIVES 135 ON A PUBLIC HIGHWAY, SHOULD BE IN JAIL WITH THE OTHER MORONS!!!!

JMHO

If you havent got anything to add to the thread keep it to yourself. I was trying to figure out if something was wrong with my car. It isnt like I do this everyday.

funny that you mention this

I have t-tops in my 99..

before, my car was pretty quiet, even on high speeds.

although yesterday as i hit 100 on a backroad, I heard my passenger window start letting air in.. when i slowed back down it stopped.

I think the window is moving around more or the rubber is getting old and brittle with the cold . I ocasionally get just get a drop or three if I"m on the highway when its raining.. Time to put some more of that silicone stuff ont he rubber.. i've been lazy about it

oh i have sfc's too.
