I just want to know some quick infor about them like I know they have 325hp and stuff but what is the gas milage like, concidering I drive alot on the highway...

Is that link to the SS the one you are going to buy? If so.. is it even an SS or just a Z28 or v6 with a SS hood? It maybe just be the picture, but I cant see the SS spoiler on there.

Just curious...

(which i have), even though looks nice, dont get, hehe, i love my v6, but it ur looking for the POWER, get Z or SS, v6 nice, but im saving for Z or a SS ATM... well GL on car

Good choice of car man!!! Camaros freakin' rock!!! The SS's are especially cool (to some) since they come with a little better exhaust system from the factory, and they have a (semi, kinda, sorta) functional "ram-air" hood. Also, a lot of people simply prefer the looks of the SS hood over the "boring" Z28 hood. That car in the picture is nice cause it's got an aftermarket skirt package that looks like the factory sport appearance package (which is not normally available on SS's from the factory).

If the car you get is a 6-speed, they come standard with 3.42 gears, and they can get very good mileage (considering they're a ~325HP V8!). With the 6-speed, you've got double over-drive (5th gear is 0.74:1, and 6th gear is 0.50:1), compared to the typical 1:1 ratio of "Drive" (auto) or 4th gear. While they can get excellent mileage, if you get throttle happy, they will get thirsty , so it's all up to you and how you drive!!

Good luck with your purchase. If you do get that car (or any other Camaro) stick around here --- there's lots of great advice on mods to do, and lots of tech help too.

ok.. being that i am a purist, I would not get the domestic rice in the picture. Why? cause all of that body crap is fugly to me!
But thats what makes us all unique.. if you truely like it, get it.. But I prefer cars that can go over speed bumps without loosing parts of the car..

I have a 2002 I bought in August 1st and it got me MPG cruising 80-90.. (I even got a ticket for 86!)

As far as the SS thing goes, make sure its a real SS.. and that it is numbered. It would of lost value as an SS I think if it has all of that goop on there but to each their own.
http://www.SLPENG.com is their home. You can call them with the VIN and they can tell you if its an SS.

As for the HP.. its rated at that from the factory but many beleive that they are underrated.
