I do agree with some of the other replys. With a complete stock exhaust a cutout sounds good. I have one on my WS6. If you have the factory Hurst then by all means try a LSS(Lous short stick) or a JSS(Jarods short stick). You may really like the set-up, but the Pro 5.0 shifter and the stick shortened is the ulimate set-up! Your very first modification should be SUB-FRAME CONNECTORS. I have the BMr tubular weld-ons and they are the ****! After installing them the car felt completely different very tight! I really like them for their strength and low weight. Even more impressing is you can only see them if you get down on the ground right next to the door and lay down. I lost NO ground clearance AT ALL! With many of the others you WILL lose clearance and gain A LOT of extra weight. Unless you are doind A LOT of hardcore racing these SFC will suit you VERY well. IThe SFC will keep your car from getting any unwanted squeeks/rattles.f I were you I would also get some rear lower contgrol arms too. They will just about eliminate any wheel hop. Also change out the trans mount for a 1LE mount to keep the trans where it belongs. This will also help keep the y-pipe from smacking the floor if you ever decide to install headers, but for now it will help keep that solid chassis feeling from the SFC and LCAs. You may want to consider adding a poly-urethane forward torque arm mount too. The factory mounts are designed for comfort not performance. You will gain some vibration and a bit of noise but these simple mods will make your car feel like a whole new car.
