Just got a new Carbon Fiber Lid, already had a regular style aftermarket lid. My question is my new lid didn't come with that sensor built in to the neck of the lid. So is there an easy way to take the old sensor out and put it into the new lid, on first look it doesnt look like its coming out without me totally destroying the old lid.

 

It'll come out easier if you use a little liquid dishwashing soap - just be careful. You should be fine - if the worst happens a new IAT sensor is fairly cheap (12160244) and the grommet is 24504388.
