Post New GTO and CAGS elimination?

According to the latest issue of High Performance Pontiac, the new GTO will not have the skip-shift "feature" and will therefore be subject to a gas guzzler tax.

Let's just assume they are correct -- if that's the case, I'm GLAD GM decided to leave the CAGS on the f-bodies because I'd MUCH rather pay $25 to get a removed while still looking stock than shell out the $$$$$$$$ for a gas guzzler "tax"!

Ordered my CAGS yesterday after only a month with the car. Hate that thing and since I don't use it my gas mileage sucks.

How much of a difference in mileage is there with/without GAGS?
