New FireHawks for sale?

I was just wondering if it is usual for a Pontiac Dealer to still have brand new '02 FireHawks and Trans Ams for sale? my dealer here in town have 4 Trans Ams, 2 Ram Airs, and 1 FireHawk.. Is that normal, since they are 2 years old?

During the Summer, there were a lot of dealerships that had 02 LS1's but never that many. I'm in Central Jersey, btw.

There is a brand new 02 TA for sale at a local dealership by me. I thought it was kinda weird but I guess if a car just doesn't sell for some reason it'll sit or go from dealership to dealership until it does.

It was probably an investment . They may have bought the car's for fairly cheap " liquadation " and selling them at a cost where they will make a pretty penny , being they probably knew that new ones would soon be impossible to find . Im sure they have them posted on the net somehwere . He will eventually get what he wants for them , there are still collecters out there .

black book value...

you pay 35k and the second you drive it off the lot it loses like 13k in value.. ewww that could suck.

Believe me if I were to buy a 2 year old brand new car for 35K. I could care less what Id lose in value by driving it. That being said those cars must be some uglyass colors. Red with a white interior or something like that Id guess

My 02 SS stickered for 35K and I paid 28 a year ago. You should be able to get it for much less than that now. A silver FireHawk would be a PIMP ride.

thats funny the chevy dealership in fresno still has three 02 anniverary SS in stock. One hard-top and 2 verts. I wondered why too. They are also asking like 35k for them.

Usually there is a reason why some cars sit on the lot for a long time: ugly colors, ugly model etc.

Since none of the above most likely are the reasons for them sitting there, I think it is something called PRICE. Not sure, but could very well be that they are asking ridiculous "market adjustment" (or what ever they want to call it) on top of the sticker price.

But, just head out there and talk to them and see what the deal is.
