New car - '00 SS - How'd I do?

I just bought a new car. It's a bone stock white 2000 SS with 14k miles, 6 speed, hardtop. Only SLP options are the hood, spoiler, ZR1s, hurst and SS floormats. I picked it up for $17,500. Is this a decent deal? Can't wait to see how this thing runs. I pick the car up next week.

As you can see, I have owned a LT1 car for the past three years. I never paid much attention to LS1 mods etc....should be an exciting new venture.

Only pic I have is from the autotrader add:

Sounds like a great deal for an SS,especially with the low miles.

Sounds like a good deal, and best of all is that its bone stock so most likely it has not been beaten on. You will love owning an SS.

Good to hear guys! I was told the ZR1s were a $1000 option. Is this true? Also, can you guys point me to a site that tells exactly what the SSs leave GM with? (suspension etc.) The car only has the SLP options I mentioned in my first post. What are the differences in suspension when compared to a Z28?

The non SLP suspension SS has larger front sway bars and I belive the rear springs are progressive and the front are a tad firmer.

Update:

Well...the guy backed out on the sale today. However, I found another white SS with 18k miles on it - 6 speed, t-tops etc. I ended up buying this car and drove it home tonight. I'm very impressed so far. The car is very smooth and runs VERY good. My buddy drove my '97 and we raced from a 35 punch in second. The SS was dead even with my old '97. Unbelievable. You can see what my LT1 runs in the sig. I can't wait to get this car to the track. It's bone stock down to the factory air fliter.

Grats on the new ride! Sounds like one heck of a car you just got. Actually I'm surprised your LT1 didn't walk the stock SS. That's very imressive actually. Nice times on that 97 BTW.

Just be careful now. I heard when a LT1 member here buys a LS1 that injectedss leads a posse of vigilantes to destroy the EVIL LS1.
