Well I did the egr mod the other day and everything went fine. I started it and noticed a sucking noise and didnt think to much of it. I left it like that for a while. Yesterday I examined it and found the noise was coming from the egr at the intake manifold. I took it off and found that the gasket was missing. I dont remeber messing with a gasket/oring while doing the mod, hopefully it just fell off outside the car. I bought a new one and put it on. If the old one fell down in the intake manifold, would that be a problem, or would the rubber gasket most likely get burned throught or what? The car runs completly fine, no rough idle or anything, it was about 300 miles ago, and I have done quite a bit of WOT runs.
