Need some advice on modding LS1 motor

This is a post I am making a for a friend of mine. He has a 98 Z28 M6 with Granatelli lid, K&N, Magnaflow exhaust, Hooker LT's and a Hooker Y pipe as well as no cats.

He wants to mod his car further- he is looking at cams and cylinder heads. What do you recommend as far as a cam/head package. He drives the car everyday but doesnt mind a rough idle.

What kind of power will he be looking at with these mods as well? Thanks a lot!

Futral Motorsports F11 (228/230 .581/.591 112LSA) and a set of Patriot Stage II heads will get you a lot of power for a good price. The cam is also very streetable with a nice lope.

I hear great things about the AFR heads and my friend just installed a CC 224/224 .581/.581 112 LSA cam that sounds bad ***. That combo should be good for about 50~60 hp for your friend and still be streetable with a tune.
