Need help!! Which tires??

Im looking into getting some Drag Radials but not sure which ones to go with any advice would be appreciated. Also hopefully they can be decently priced Im thinking Nittos or BFG G-force but when it comes to DR's Im clueless.

On a side note I was driving in town today and pull up next beautifull 69 bright red camaro with black racing stripes thats just been restored. It was a sight to see me in my 02 35th anniversary SS and his 69 right next to each other at the light in a busy intersection.we were both turning oppisite directions. He gave me a thumbs and so did I. Sorry just thought I had to tell somebody.

I would stay away from the Nittos. I have them and my 60ft times did not improve much from street tires.

I hear the MT dr's are THE best. They say only use them for the stip tho, way too soft for the street. I have 285/40/17 and put them at 22 psi and ran a best 60' of 1.97 w/ mods and times in sig.

mid 1.6s all day on rubber band 17 inch nittos here.....totally stock suspension except for tubular LCAs and a PHR. you have to burn the crap out of them to get them hot enough, but if you do, they WILL work(no first gear burnouts).

mine have also lasted LONG for a set of drag radials...50 track passes and over 15,000 miles of street driving including a couple dozen burnouts/street races and they still had some tread on em when i replaced them last week.

I'm a strong believe in the Nittos. Mickey Thompson's are supposed to be the best but if you drive your car alot, you're going to use em up real quick.
