I recently puchased a 1999 z28 with 103k miles on it. My question is what are some things I should do to ensure my car will run well with so many miles and what are some things I could do to bring the ls1 to life? I love the car so far and would really like to add some power to it. The car currently has an slp intake and a tune by hp performance. Any input would be helpful! Thanks all

 

There are no big secrets. How much do you have to spend? If you have an auto, torque convertor is one of the best buys you can make. With a stick, put some 4.11's in it. Then exhaust, then dive into the motor.

changing belts, fluids , wires, and plugs first step ... I just bought my daughter a 99 a4 with 141k miles ... then I put a slp cold air package on it with maf sensor and a set of metco lower control arms. converter is next on the list then 90/10 front struts and 50/50 rear shocks


Heads / headers / cam converter /a lil spray and keep your fingers crossed and pray to the f body gods that your 10 bolt will hold up
