Need help engine issues

Just drove 85 miles to work, no issues on trip. Shut car off for 45 minutes, went to car to run across town now having wierd issue. When try to drive car feels like has a misfire and intake is clogged until you hit 2500 rpm then takes off like bat out of hell. I push gas down car just doesnt want to go like it cant get enough air or something then once gets past 2500 all good. once sitting still it idles very rough and rich. no plug wire shortedout on headers, good fuel, goodfuel filter, all seems okay except cant run rightbelow 2500. almost like someone is holding car back with anchor. Also, service light comes on and blinks then shuts off. I have no tools and need to drive car home in 30 minutes, hopefully someone on here has idea. It did this once before in really hot day but cleared right up after a minute. Today has been going on 10 minutes and not getting better. Hope someone on here has good idea for solution. sorry for bad grammer and caps, using my phone as no computer.

Well, got car home. Drove like a pig for about 10 miles then misfired stopped and ran fine rest of way home. Has SES light on constant now, while misfire was going had SES light flashing. Time to start troubleshooting. Would fouled plugs cause such issue or should start looking more to plug wires, coils, etc.

There's many different things it could be - and I'm no mechanic...you need to pull the code in the computer and see what it says. Could be a stuck injector flooding out cylinders at low rpm, bad MAF, generally ignition breakdown gets worse as cylinder pressure and RPM come up so I would think the wires and coils are ok.

Been having the same problem with my '94 Z28 for the last couple of weeks. Turned out to be false 02 readings due to blown exhaust gaskets. I could see it being the MAF too.

Find out what the codes are first. Often if you come back here and let us know what they are we can get pretty close on a diagnosis.
