need help with converter install

Hey guys I've decided to get a 2800-3200 stall converter from Midwest for my 02 camaro! I have a few questions:who sells Midwest converters, and after you install your converter did you need to put in a shift kit or use a programmer to increase shift firmness? If yes do you think this will work? I found a transmission mod where you drop the pan and take out the pressure control solenoid valve and adjust it by turning the star head socket a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch to increase line pressure!Has anybody done this?Pat.

Thumbs up converter reply

YOU CAN ORDER THE CONVERTER RIGHT FROM MIDWEST. JUST GO TO ANY SEARCH ENGINE AND TYPE IN MIDWEST TORQUE CONVERTER. GO TO CONTACT BUTTON AND GET THE MAIN NUMBER. REAL NICE PEOPLE! I SET THE LINE PRESSURE WITH THE HPP3. DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE STAR THINGIE!
