Need help cleaning leather!!!!

I have a couple accidental blue ball-point pen marks on my tan leather. I've tride Lexol Ph balance leather cleaner, oxy clean, even a non harsh clothing detergent gel. Nothing has gotten the ink out. What, if anything, can I use to remove it??

No promisses here but i got some blue ink on my tan leather right at the seam near the center console. I pulled the top of a pen and it spilled out. The car was only about a month old.
I went home right then and got a little Brake Clean ( the good stuff, not the enviro-friendly stuff) on a rag and rubed it. The ink came out and the leather color looked bad at first. Once it dried you could not see it anymore. It may have worked because it had not had time to dry real well yet. I don't know. But I'd say worth a try, just do a little small spot at a time. Good luck and let us know how you did. Later>>>>>>>>

I worked at a dealership and if you use superclean be careful with it because it will discolor, test it in an unseen area first.

Damn, that sucks! My advice: Murphys Oil Soap mixed with water. Take a cloth, dip it in the solution, then wring out the excess water. You just want the cloth damp. This is totaly safe on the leather (won't discolor). Afterwards, use Lexol leather conditioner to treat the hide. I use Murphys every year, Lexol at least once a month and my seats are softer than they were brand new. Good luck!

I've tried the superclean, and it got the stain mostly out. There is still a faded mark on the seat, so i will try one of the other ideas to try and get rid of it completely. thanx for the help.

May want to try acetone. But TEST first in unseen area to make sure doesn't screw up leather. Acetone takes ink off anything, but I don't know what it will do to your leather. If you don't have acetone, use nail polish remover, just TEST first in unseen area. Good luck. I had melted crayon all in a cup holder to get out after having the car for a month thanks to my wife and nephew. That was fun to get out.

The acetone should work but it will remove the natural oils from the leather too. Some mink oil rubbed in after the stain is removed should restore the oils.
