Need Help Asap

Guys I need to replace my water pump tonight. The part should be in by noon today.. But, the only thing is I want to know if you guys have any tips. I was told to dump the coolant out of the block. How can I do that. I was told about a plug being on the pass side, however that guy was talking about the LT1 engine. I have the LS1 egine.. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Just open the plug on the bottom of the radiator.

well I went ahead and replaced the water pump last night.. it is a simple install.. just getting most of the **** out of the way is a long part of the job. It is actually only held by 6 10MM bolts... you have to remove the throttle body to get room to take out the pump.
