How much for insurance?

Payments?

I just got my 2002 SS, paying for it all myself, I closed the sale at 26,660 and was able to finance it 5 years at 0%. Payments are about $530/month and insurance is $380/month. And I only have one ticket, 11mph over. *shrug*

I dont think I'm going to mod mine anytime soon, I'm QUITE happy with it how it is =)

That is insane. I am 19 and I just got a new loaded Z (minus leather and changer) for $21,500 (With gm empoloyee discount from my dad). My payment is only $350/month ($3000 trade in also) and my insurance is only $160/month and I have a ticket. I thought my car was expensive.
Have fun and enjoy the car.
Dustin

Cool

Being an automatic, you would get a decent gain from the Hypertech Power Programmer. While some do see a decent gain from the power tuning, it's the adjustability of shift points in particular that make it worthwhile for the autos. I know that my stock shift points were VERY low from the factory. It will also allow you to kick the fans on earlier, and if you can find a used HPP3 for sale, then you should have enough cash left over to buy a 160* thermostat as well. Just post up in the classifieds section on this board, ls1.com, and ls1tech.com that you're looking for an HPP3 for a '99, and I bet you can find a good, used one for $200-$225. It doesn't hurt anything by using it on another car, so long as the car that it was used on has been put back to stock for tuning.

If you can be patient, I'd save a little more then go for a convertor.

how the hell did that make any sence
HPP is junk
and your shift points were the same as everyone elses- i'm not trying to be a **** but that was some serious misinformation in my opinion.

for $300 i'm thinking put it towards your car payment and mod later. dont want to void your warantee before its yours anyway

PAY IT OFF!
it feels so good to have the car in the sig with NO payments
