Need advice on aftermarket lower control arms
Need advice on aftermarket lower control arms
As you might have guessed, I drive a 2001 Z28.
I've done a little poking around and the best bet I've found so far is the Spohn LCA w/poly bushings ($145).
I don't want road noise to increase a whole lot because it's a daily driver. I realize this will cost me some performance, but I'm just looking for something that will help decrease body roll a little bit.
Any advice/experience with this would be greatly appreciated!

Another vote for BMR, I have the boxed LCA's with poly bushings, and the trick is to grease the poly bushings, and the bolt with pure silicone grease BEFORE installation, then use a high quality synthetic gease pumped into the zerk fittings. You will have no trouble with any squeaking.
You do pick up some additional road noise, however the pluses of the performance gaines in handleing out way any minuses.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
This guy is not looking to lower his car, get new springs etc. I realize that there's better things out there but I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't want to ruin the relatively smooth ride I have right now.
Plus, I don't really savor the idea of hitting my head on the roof every time I go over a bump ...
I'm just looking at something small that I can do that will improve performance a little bit.
The car is still under warranty and I don't want to modify it too much.
