I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you just want to go to the dealer and let them hook it up to the computer. It will tell you why the SES light is on. Hell, usually it's about $80-100 dollars just to tell you why the light is on.

yea i was dealin with the dealer when the o2 sensors went bad and then they striped the threads get the sensors out and then wanted me to pay 900 dollars and all the work to fix the o2s and put a cat on and i told them to shove it up there *** and then i went to a nice local little shop where i no the guys and it cost me 316 and that was with the tow bill from the dealer and all the repairs so i will not **** with dealers ne more it coast me more than the engine in labor to have a nother enginr put in! so thats the deal on the dealers

He's right, I helped a buddy put a nitrous kit on his 2000 GT and it was missing like a bastard once we finished. So we went to autozone, and they ran the codes for free in fact they ran them twice. (Story time) Funny thing is, piston 7 wasn't firing. As the Chevy person I am, piston 7 is on the opposite side as fords(oops) ends up he forgot to plug in a coil pack, to bad a week later he blew up his intake with a 125 shot and no timing adjuster.
