my old time with 2.73 gears (cold weather & no humidity) was 1.870/12.8@107mph

yesterday I went to track with new 3.73 gears (humid and hot as hell)
1st ran at 630pm 1.900/13.22@104.80mph
2nd ran at 910pm 1.848/13.05@104.95mph (spinning both times)

I think i lost at least .5 due to hot and humid weather and 2-3mph..
Does the weather really have this much effect on out cars?
anyone else experienced this much loss due to weather????

my plan from now on is to race from november thru april, any other month is just too hot and it is waste of time to go.

Yes,the heat and more importantly the humidity kill performance.I lost .2 in the 1/8 because of heat and humidity.I'm like you,I think it's no more track for a while until it gets a little cooler at night or at least drier.Plus I'm sure that the spinning didn't help much either!Good luck.
