Mufflex Cat Bypass

I am looking to get rid of my Cats and came across these.

I was just curious if anyone has ever used these. I know almost all of you are going to say buy LT and go all out while spending the money but i was curious how well these bypass pipes bolt up or what and if you think its a good price. Thanks for any help.

Re: Mufflex Cat Bypass

they make the car really raspy...anytime you take cats off the LS1 cars they sound raspy. But to answer they will work fine, Mufflex makes some good products.

Re: Mufflex Cat Bypass

I'm not sure of anyone who bought those, most people do just go with the LT's and go from there with either the ORY or catted Y. I know a guy with an LT1 who has cat bypass tubes coming off his shorties and into straight pipes. It sounds nice, definitely made it louder. I like the sound of it but LT1's have always sounded better than LS1's so not sure how the LS1 would sound with cat bypass tubes.

I'm sure they should just bolt up pretty easy and they seem like a fair price also.
