Lightbulb Moser 12 bolt questions

Ok, so I found out that my rear axle is f*cked from nailing that curb. I planned on getting a Moser eventually, so I may as well go ahead and do it now. I'm not too familiar w/ all the aspects of them though, so I have a few questions.

1. I'm ordering it from Thunder Racing, anyone know if they come fully assembled?

2. There's the "complete bolt-in with spool" and "complete bolt-in with posi". WTF is spool? What's better? Which should I get?

3. What's the 30 or 33 spline mean?

4. Does an '02 WS6 use the 3 channel exciter ring on posi, or 4 channel exciter rings on axles for the ABS?

5. I don't need to bother w/ the 1350 yoke upgrade right?

6. They have a BMR sway bar mount kit, saying that it's required to mount a factory sway bar to the rear-end. I guess I need that... anyone know if I have the 19 or 21mm sway bar?

I guess that's it. I got a friend at work who went through 5 years of automotive classes, so he's gonna help me install it. Any other suggestions or comments that could be useful would be appreciated! As you can tell, I dunno squat about rear-end's

1. They should.
2. With a spool both tires spin at the same time all the time. It is meant for racing conditions only. It still can be driven o the street but is a pain in the @ss on turns. Go with the posi if you are looking for a good street ap.
3. Spline is the # of Threads/cuts in the axle shafts to lock into the posi/spool etc. General rule of thumb is more spline can handle more hp but costs more.
4. If you have TCS it more then likely has the 4 channel/ if not then it has the 3 channel. Check to see if you have a connector coming off the top of the pumpkin, if you do then it's a 3 channel.
5. Nope just a beefer piece.
6.Don't have a clue. However I have seen people just use muffler clamps to hold them on. After all that all they really are.

Hopes this helps ya.

Who? Thunder Racing for the Moser? That would be around $2,000 + any extras.

I just got an email from some performance company I've never heard of called Texas Speed and Performance saying they're having a special and one of the items on sale is the Moser... I dunno though, it's a lil cheaper, but I think I'd rather order from a company I know and trust.

EDIT: Added it up, the total including rear-end, ABS connectors, and that sway bar thing (its only $60, guess I'll get it) is $2180. I'm still considering if I wanna get the 33 spline and/or the TA performance aluminum cover though.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with 3.42's... since I still wanna retain some freeway driving, and w/ my current 3.23's, my car already doesn't care for high speed cruising. Damn automatic, only bad thing about it

What speed do you cruise at 100, lol. I'd go with 3.73s not to bad unless you do a lot of highway driving and they get you off the line fast. One more thing, unless you plan on putting your car in the 10s you can use a 10 bolt, lots of people have run them deep into the 11s with automatic transmissions. good luck

Get a 9inch instead...Then you can get as many pumpkin gear sets as you want and can change them in a half hour if you feel you want to...

Also if you have traction control you will need to have the TCS rings pressed onto the axles, you will have to then put the axles in the rear end. Put the cover on, put the brake setup on and not to forget put it in the car, not in that order but you should get the idea.

If you like your car to be able to turn I'd stick with the 12 bolt. I'd go with the 9 in if you where gonna see a lot of track time.
