I done some mods to my stock lid on my 98 camaro I took out all the fins and smoothed it out for more clearance and a k&n filter. would this be the same as a aftermarket lid. Am I getting the same performance as an aftermarket lid. thanks

 

Do you still have the large air baffles on the rear of the lid? If so then you are still not getting the same kind of gains as a aftermarket lid.

 

u should prob get a lid
