Thumbs up

This question pops up at least once a week, so try some searches, too.

Things to look for are basically just the same usual things you'd look for in any car: sounds, leaks, smells, dents/dings, paint, tires, electrical stuff etc.

LS1's don't have too many mechanical issues except for piston slap, oil consumption, warping rotors and leaking rear pinion seal. Those are pretty much it and none of them are really serious anyway.

Just look it over really carefully and go from there.

Not sure about the market in your area, but I hope you are getting it well below $10K. Especially considering the miles.

Good luck!

TS

Hey, don't worry about it if you are getting it for more than $10k. My car justed turned over 70k miles and I wouldn't take less than $14k for it IF, I where to sell it.

These are chevrolets man....not a mustang!!!!

A car is worth exactly as much as somebody is willing to pay for it.

FWIW, I paid $14.9 for my 00 Z28 w/36K miles 7 months ago at a Chevy dealer...

yes but mods play into the price you want to get. it depends on whats on the car what the buyer wants to pay for the mods on the car.
