Re: Mac Mid Length Headers

I just put them on my car last week. Hearder instal isnt fun no matter what header you get but it wasnt really bad at all. Plug access is very good. I just ran my car at the track last night and i ran a 13.20 at 106mph with a crappy 2.2 60'. I like these headers alot!

^ you got rid of a set of headers b/c of a provison problem? Do you have strict emissions laws? I would have just done away w/ the EGR, and capped the hole.

i didnt make myself clear as usual, sorry. i got rid of the egr/air. when my mechanic called mac to see why the port wasnt lining up, the guy at mac said "your customer has a rare ls1/zl1 engine then" and told the mech that i needed other stuff to make it work. so for a simple full exhaust job, i ended up spending few thousand more due to bad info, buying h/c, and block off plates. i was not a member to any forum then and didnt any info on it.

Ok.... I see... Fk that then... If they're not going to put proper research, hand work, or listen to customer concerns, then they don't deserve your money.
