Question MAC Mid-Length Headers

How hard is it to install mac headers on our cars? Is it a one man, two, three or more man job? How many hours, how difficult is it?

does anyone have mac headers, catalyitic ypipe, and corsa exhaust? what gains did you see, how does the sytem sound? Any rasp or drone?

I'm thinking about this set up:
Mac headers and carsound cats. Can the carsound cats be welded/bolted on to the MAC ypipe or do i need another kind of ypipe?

Also, will I need a MAFT after the Header install to correct my a/f ratio? or should my a/f stay pretty good?

TIA

I have the Macs going into a Mac y-pipe with cats and a SLP duel duel cat-back at the *** end of it all. I picked up about 2tenths and about 1 1/2 to 2 mph at the track...it sounds about the same to me...a little higher pitch and rasper....but that is is

I have the MAC's on my car and me and my father put them on the car in 8 hours or so, just take your time and make sure that you get the car high in the air (defintely easier to come in from the bottom). the only thing that didn't work on them was the AIR tubes but we got the one from a 98 and it bolted up with no problems. And while your there is a good time to change the plugs.

You got airtubes from a 98? would the 01-02 retro fit emissions kit fix that? MTI sells it for 150$

i don't know about the kit working but i know the passenger side one defintely needs to be bought (at least for us) as the connection is turned 90 degrees the what it is stock. The driver side all we did was take the one that was one there and flatten it out and it worked. I can take pictures if you need.

you'll also need to do the air restrictor mod. call paceparts.com . Also plan on welinding in a walker/dynomax bullet muffler before the axle. This WILL BE NEEDED to get rid of the rasp(trust me)
