I love mine too, but do yourself a favor and install O2 sims with the install if you need to be sniffed. The cats seem to be failing pretty often on this product, and the connection is hard to get to after the tubes are in. GOOD CHOICE of HEADERS though!!

Pretty good header, I was going to get those until I heard about the QTP headers. Now I am saving up for those

I like my MAC's. I had them hooked up to a Corsa exhaust, but it was too quiet so I went with the loud mouth. YES, it's LOUD. With the headers it tends to rap out a bit when you get on the throttle, but there's nothin' wrong with that! I don't recommend omitting the O2 sensors and cats. Also, there not that difficult to install with a little determination and some skinned knuckles Why not keep it street legal and less polluting for a couple less horsepower? It's easy to make up that power with a couple extra mod's or a little nitrous juice. You can afford it with the money you saved buying the MAC's. Just my opinion.

I second this question.. even if I go with MACs and the offroad pipe it cost 500. I can get JetHots for little more than that and then the Hooker Ypipe for 180 more. So for 200 more bucks would I regret not getting the LT's?

I don't believe it is worth the swap. But if you wan to do a heads cam job, then I would recommend going with LTs, the QTP headers are a great choice, those are the ones I will be going with.

I don't like hookers because I have heard many stories of welds blowing off, I don't like Jet Hots because they have an awkward collector.
My thought is that if your gonna do something this expensive, do it right the 1st time and get what is considered the best, thats why I am going with QTPs

All these header questions lately are making me go crazy, I am itching to order the QTPs!!! But I need a little more cash

Cool

Yeah,I feel the same way but since all I am wanting out of my '98 is a 12 sec reliable daily driver I think MAC's will be exactly what I am looking for.

Hey me too, I am shooting for a 12.25-12.70 reliable car!!!!!!!!!!

Some have told me though if I hit 12.25 that I am going to shoot for 11's, but I don't think so, I'll be happy to run with the Z06s, thats fast enough for me

I am thinking the QTPs, a mild Yank convertor and some DRs and I should be in the mid 12s!!!
