Is there any problems i might run into? I was told the wiring for the knock sensor is different? also will the ls1 wiring harness work?

 

I'm not sure about the swap, couldn't be too hard...but regardless short of a set of 243 heads and a tiny cam you practically have a LS6 in your 01.

Ignore my post if you have a blown engine or whatnot and are replacing it.

 

Lol yeah its blown, did the research it pratically drops right in with just a little guess work. engine is droped right now waiting on the ls6 to arrive.

a friend of mine melted a piston in his 01 ss ,he did a ls6 swap it went right in wit no problems
