Ls6 Pcv??

How many of you have converterd your <00's LS1 PCV to a '01+ LS6 PCV? Any instructions/pointers? Was it a cure all?

...I just bought a crate LS6 longblock to get the LS6 PCV Set-up

Anyway, try this link for the instructions you're looking for:

No, I don't believe that it is a cure-all. But it sure is better.

I did just burn a piston and I suspect that the detonation was caused by oil in the intake charge. But it probably would have happened sooner with the old pcv system.

The only trick is grinding the small block lifting tab of the interior of the block valley on the passenger side. I did it with the motor out of the car and on a stand. I have known people that did it in the car. Just be careful.

I also added a paper filter in the pcv loop from valley cover to the TB. Worked good for a while.

Then there are those of us who got an LS6 style block in their 00 Formula so I didn't have to grind any tab. And I'm going to run a catch can.
