Cool LS6 Intake and TNT Nitrous Kit

I was just thinking about buying the LS6 intake and was just wondering if anyone has bought this for there 98-00 cars and seen any diference at the track? Also about the TNT nitrous kit, is it as good of a kit as they let it on to be because I dont know anyone localy that has that brand. All info will greatly be appreciated.

Most people see around 10 rwhp on a nearly stock car from an LS6 intake swap. That's not too bad. The more mods you get though, the more it helps out. The last 1500 rpms will pull noticable harder I think.

I don't know a whole lot about nitrous kits. I do know that some people swear by NX, and others by TNT, and even others by NOS. I really don't think you can go wrong with getting any of those.

Tnt is a very good kit just keep in mind there shots are measured by rwhp so don't go overboard there 100 is like a 125 from another company.

My 02 pulls noticably better on the big end thatn my roommates 00'. Only diffrence is the intake. I also ran 4 mph better and .5 tenths better at the track. Thats with me driving both cars. As for TNT, there the shiznittyit. The power coupler system has proven it's self to be one of the best systems avalible. Plus it looks much better than the others. You can also swap in hard line for the stainless braided for that extra hard hit. Thats what I did at no extra charge.

Thumbs up

I put a LS6 intake on my 2000 Z28. Combined with MAC headers w/cats, I got a 32 rwhp gain. Figure at least 10 of that was from the intake alone. I also run a TNT wet kit with 100 jets (for now). Great quality, easy install and great customer service. My nitrous filter developed a leak and they replaced it no questions asked. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any specific questions. Ben
