LS6 intake install ??

I plan on changing to an LS6 intake this spring and was wondering how hard it is to do? I have the install instructions and just need an opinion of people that have done it. how long does it take? At the same time i will also be installing MAC headers, OR y-pipe and electric cut out.and mail order tune from LS1 speed to delete egr,and rear O2's.
Last fall i ran a best of 13.36 at 106 and hoping for 12.9-12.8 this summer off the bottle. let me know what you think and ways to improve.

I would install the MACs at the same time as the LS6. Installing the intake itself isn't hard, just be careful of the hoses and fittings at the back of the intake as they are easy to break, or knock loose. Basically all you do is remove the TB, loosen the fuel rails, remove the LS1 intake, re-route the coolant lines and install the LS6. Some advice on the MACs...clean up the welds, consider doing the "collector mod" and do NOT use MAC's cats. Give me a holler if you need more info.

Re: LS6 intake install ??

Not dumb questions... The "collector mod" removes the ball-flange from the MACs and replaces it with a regular collector. Flowmaster makes a good one that I think is sold by a sponsor... EGR is as simple as removing the lines and capping them, if I remember correctly. The AIR removal will be a little more involved as there is a pump under the driver's side headlight. You can make the block-offs yourself, or buy them. I'd also suggest a dyno tune...especially for the spray...it really helped get the most out of my set-up. Let me know if you have any ?s
