ls6 heads

are ls6 heads a good upgrate from stock 241 heads? If so would it benifit to port and polish them?? I consider the car a daily driver even though its only driven on weekends. what a good set of springs for them as well?? just looking for some more power

They would be a good upgrade along with an ls6 cam if you're getting them for next to nothing. With so many heads/cam packages out there now it would probably be better to go aftermarket.

yea i saw a pair for 300 with springs. im looking to get a good cam as well to. something thats easy to drive daily on. but still puts down some decent numbers. Is that a good price on ls6 heads? whats a good aftermarket cam to go with that. id like 400rwp eventually. i have an ls1 automatic, with Lts, air lid, long tubes, stall, gears. engine is brand new from gm as well.

Yes plus milling them would be great! Get a used set for about $500 bucks and go to town!
