LS6 or fast LSX intake

Which intake would you recommend for a head and cam LS1? I know the LSx is the best but is it really needed?

a port matched FAST 90/90 will work great on a H/C or big cube motor but that costs money. a FAST 78mm is not worth it over an LS6 intake with a ported stock throttlebody.

I think in the long run, the Fast 90/90 is the way to go with a all out N/A setup.....once you have exhausted all ways of adding power the price tag on the FAST isn't to bad to get an extra 10-15whp

Cam Only = LS6 and Ported TB.
Heads/Cam = FAST Setup.

They do. All of the 01-04 LS1s comes with the LS6 and a few of the late 00s might also come with one depending on production month.

Kraest do you think a FAST 90/90 setup is worth the money ontop of a TR224/224 .563/.563 112lsa with some TEA 1.5 5.3ltr heads? The heads have 2.02 intake valves but stock exhaust valves. Compared to a LS6 intake with a ported stock TB.

Honestly, probably not worth it over the LS6 with ported TB for the $$$ since that's such a mild setup anyway.
