ls6 cam swap

I'm set on an LS6 cam for my 1999 Z28. I don't want to go too wild with my car, I want the stock idle sleeper effect, and the drivability. Now the questions...

1. What other parts will I need besides the cam? New springs I know. What about retainers, lifters?

2. Some kind of tuning would probably be required?

I am also considering this. From what I undestand, one of the ice things about an LS6 cam is that no tuning is necessary. I would use an 02- 03 cam. I hope lifters or push rods are not needed.
