Re: LS6 Cam

you have to use bigger springs...the ls6 springs are the inexpensive choice.

Re: LS6 Cam

He didnt have his tuned. I raced him and wasnt to impressed. The only gains that you will see are pretty much past 5500 rpms, therefore the only time it will really shine is when your doing high speed runs and are in your upper rpm ranges for an extended period of time. When we raced it was even untill we were about to shift then he would start to pull. Once we shifted it would be even again untill he reached the upper rpms. There are plenty of other cams out there that are just as streetable as the ls6 cam but will make substantially more power.

edit* we raced before my headers and true duals

Re: LS6 Cam

i too was concidering the LS6 cam because of its affordability, but then i realized that if i am gunna spend all that money on a cam swap it might as well be something thats gunna kick *** all over the place...i heard that the trex cams are good and the ls1 hotcams are good as well...but i have to pass the sniffer so we will see what the future holds

Re: LS6 Cam

any custom grind cam will make the ls-6 look weak.
