Talking LS2 manifold fit LS1 maybe? ?

Hello. I have a 02 z-28. My car has the ls6 manifold with I think the 78mm intake port. I think the ls2 manifold has the 90mm intake port, Will the ls2 manifold fit the ls1 ?? ?

It will cost you HP over the LS6 intake. It was designed for a larger engine and with keeping cost down over performance. This is another case where bigger isn't better. Stick with your LS6 intake.

LS6 intake > LS2 intake.

^ I think the bolt pattern is different, IIRC..

I know we cannot use the LS1/6 intake on LQ9 style heads (and why would you want to?) .. again, bolt pattern.

You could, but for the cost, you could get a FAST 90/90 maybe.. also you'd need to do something w/ the throttle by wire TB.

I don't think it'd be worth it. IMO...

What makes you think that? I thought that all LSx heads are the same intake bolt pattern except for the C5R, LS7, & L92.

Buddy has LQ9 heads on his twin turbo Formula LS1 with an LS1 intake.

The LS2 is an LS6 casting, minus the trick valves.

And Al's right.

There's a reason that you can only run the LS7/L76 intake manifold on the L92/LS7 stuff.

All teh LS2 applications use the drive by wire throttle with a different TB bolt pattern which can't be adapted to the F-body.

What are your mods? A ported stock TB with an LS6 intake can support a lot of airflow.
