ls2 coils on ls1??? possible?

Hello. My buddy has a slightly used set of ls2 coils. Will they fit ls1? Is their any down side or up side to using them? extra spark?

I have heard that the round coil packs put out more voltage than the ls1 square ones. Not sure if it enough to make a difference though. Unless you have a misfire problem, I wouldn't bother.

The LS1 coils are PLENTY sufficient for most applications. unless some are failing, I wouldn't waste my time or money.

No reason to change them out unless they are defective.

I used stock coils on my 530rwhp 408 LS1.
