LS1 and th400

Will it bolt right up ? I have heard problems with flexplates or something that needed to be changed but cant remember, what was it if anything? thanks

I did do a search, but did not get a good answer. All I gathered is that I will need a new torque arm, is that it?

The Trans will bolt right up to the motor, you will not use the center top bolt and on some cases the bolt to the right of it. Use a TH400 convertor that has a Pilot extension. The earlier LS1 Flexplates have the TH400 holes also drilled in them. There are ways to mod a man. crossmember or just get a BMR.
