LS1 questions
Are all the LS1s all aluminum or just the heads? and what transmission's are in the 6 speeds? Borgwerner or tremec?

The 6 spd. transmissions are Tremecs.

I know the heads are aluminum, but I can't remember what the rest of the engine is made of.

FBody and Vette blocks are all aluminum...the truck motors are iron...

Not all of them are tremecs mine isnt

I think so...

'98s had the BW and '99-'02s had a Tremec (95% sure).
