LS1 performance standing?

Out of all stock production engines, where do you think the LS1 stands?

Right behind the LS-6.. lol

Do you mean most hp or hp per cubic inch or what? Vipers have alot of hp and the s-2000 takes the cake as far as power/engine size ratio...

Just not hp/$...
The ls1 is probably the best you can (could) get in a sub $30k car.

Been researching the build of the late F-body LS1s, and there's really very little difference between that and the LS6, since they now share short blocks, inlet manifolds and injectors, and quite a ffew other parts. The LS6 heads are better flowing, but the LS1 is really only a cam away from the LS6
