I got a 2000 SS in Germany with all the available factory upgrades for 12500. I also got it two years ago. It only had 55k on it when I got it as well. Everything was in great condition except for 2 minor scratches and the shifter **** being worn. I am still driving it with over 72k on it now and only had to change clutch and breaks. I love my SS!

just about to hit 100K and I still rock about 23 mpg average on a tank with the A4 trans. I normally go about 70-80mph on highway. I would say that I drive 75% highway.

With my 2000 SS M6 I consistently get a little under 20 MPG with the check gauges light coming on at about 246 and the car taking on about 13 gallons of premium when I get to the pump. I cannot resist putting my foot into the car anytime there is no one in front of me and I'm coming out of a turn onto the interstate. This car is fun. Criuse is at about 72 MPH for six minutes with occassional farting around. My commute is about 20 minutes so the car only warms up at half-way there. I'm confident that I could get some of the figures that others are getting if I drove the car longer distances and had some self discipline but the car sounds so good and runs so well that I think it unlikely.
