I'm need to know if the motor mts are different, will the 93-97 harness work with the existing ls eng(i have the ls eng harness as well as the ecm),but i want the gauges to work properly.I had been told this will drop in on the existing k-member,yet in jegs they list different k-members for 93-97/98-02 f-bodys.It's stuff like this that i need to confirm.

You need the LS harness modified to work with the LT1 gauges... and I would recommend using the LS K-member, Steering shaft, & Rack n pinion. It will make life easier but if you don't want to you can use you LT K-member and just use adapter plates to get the motor to bolt up correctly.
