I'm looking to replace my LS1 with the LS7 but not right now. Are there any upgrades I can do now on the LS1 which can be transferred and which are effective for the new LS7 such as cams, headers, etc?

 

well the LS7 is a 427 ci motor... any cam speced at your 346 ci will be ****e if you put it in your LS7. Heads, i think your giong to need some big boy heads that flow like mad for the LS7.

not sure if any of the parts are interchangable. this might be a topic to research on LS1 tech.

 

Is there any specific reason you are leaning towards the LS7? If it's purely a cubic inch thing, I would just do a Darton wet sleeved 427. I will get you the power you are after without having to modify anything. Below I have listed our 427 package, but keep in mind we can dress it up with additional parts such as F.A.S.T 90/90.
