i have a 94 z 6 speed, but im about to get a 99 6 speed, im wondering, if i put the zo6 cam/heads/intake/...what else? will it put me at 405 like the zo6 or no?

 

It would be the wrong way to go if you're LS1 is running well. Just get regular stage II heads/cam & you'll make more hp. The only time I'd get a LS6 is if I blew up my LS1. Then you'd just have to port/polish the heads & get a larger cam.

 

so if i get a LS1 car all i need is heads/cam and ic an put out more than 405? and thats b4 a S/C? and when i get a S/C do i need to get the blower cam to get peak horses?

 

most head cam headers LS1's makes 400ish rwhp alone, much more than a ls6

 

well hell, would my LT1 do that? or is that just how much better the LS1 is? i can get a supercharger etc etc but im hearin alot about these LS1 engines that they are 9x better than the LT

Eh, as stated.. you don't need LS6's at all. The LS1's will make up to ~470rwhp on a stock shortblock without a big cam. If you know what you're doing anyway .

LT1's arent hard to get over 400rw either with LT1's if your shortblock is in good condition . Obviously, they arent as easy to get the power out of as the LSx series by design.

If you dont make over 420rw with heads/cam LS1 cars, then your stuff is garbage.

 

lol, well lets say i have the vette LS1, 340? or 345 horses rather than the LS1 thats in the maro, if i put heads/cam/headers, (by the way is their a site with ktis or any thing?) and when i get a supercharger am i goin to lose possible pwr bc its not a blower cam i have in it? any way what heads/cam/headers would u suggest?

 

but if you buy a set of fully ported LS6 heads it'll will make more power than fully ported LS1 heads.
