LS1 headers, primary length

Does anyone know the typical primary length on a set of LS1 headers? Also, aren't most LS1 primaries unequal length? I'd like to take a stab at building my own set out of stainless. Anyone ever tried it?

Most of them try to get as close to equal as possible. QTP makes an equal length header and the primary's are 30" long....but they also claim its "the longest long-tube header on the market."

My Kook's have roughly 27" primarys, but they are unequal. LG's headers are 30's or 32's I believe. I'd shoot for that if at all possible.

LGs are 32", but they are stepped down from a 1-7/8 to a 1-3/4 to retain max torque. I'd build something similar to that.
