LS1 header installation guides

main reason i am asking too is because on the mac headers, there is a slot for what i think is for the AIR, its on the drivers side. on the macs, its on the first header tube, on my stock headers, its on my second. any ideas?

not sure what you mean by a "slot"
the AIR and EGR fittings should look something what's in this pic.
air and egr block off plates

Re: LS1 header installation guides
Header install is easy. Loosen bolts. remove old exhaust components/manifolds. Place new headers. tighten bolts. Mid lengths should be a breeze. change your plugs/wires while you're fooling around under there, makes the job way easier.
Re: LS1 header installation guides
headers are all gonna be basically the same.
the differnce will be with the AIR and EGR fittings, or lack of in some cases. and issues with clearance, and that seems to be car specific not year/model/header specific.
even shorties will be similar with the exception of retaining the stock ypipe and crap.
if you guys have any suggestions for specific brands of headers...ie...tricks specific to one kind...or just anything to add let me know, i'll GLADDLY put it in my "install page". the more helpfull hints on it the better
