I have heard that the factory LS1 brakes are much better than the stock LT1 brakes... 1) is this true?, i'm going to be kicking the stock brakes into the next county, so if I were to put the braking system from an LS1 on my 95 Z 2) would this be an upgrade?? and if so, where can I get brand spanking new rotors and pads the cheapest??? Thanks for the help...

Yes,it is an upgrade.There is a write-up on this somewhere but I can't remember where try the appearance section and look for Brent's website.I do know that you have to change out the A-arm (I think that's what it's called) that the caliper bracket attatches to.Good luck.

The cheapest place I've found new rotors was Autozone.They have stock replacements for like $49 each.

its an upgrade yes, but its not a very big upgrade. its kind of like going from the LS1 cam to the LS6 cam, and upgrade, but nothing to get excited over. id look into some Baer Eradispeed's if you want to stop on a dime.
