Loud chirping from engine.....

How can I get rid of the annoying chirping coming from the tensioner pulley area. I have tried a gator back belt, and replacing the pulley. Is there anything else I can do.

Please help, It's quite embarrassing.

Thanks Guys!

Have you checked your AC condenser?

Get rid of the bird nest in your engine!

j/k, but I actually saw a guy's car once where a bird built a nest inside the engine bay lol.

I,ve had the same problem for about 6-8 months now and you're right,it is very embarrassing, not to mention annoying. However changing over to gatorback belts for both belts the other day took care of the problem for me.I had the same problem a couple years ago and the dealer replaced the belt tensioner which took care of the problem for about a year till the belts started becoming noisey. That may be your problem if you can trace the noise to it's origin.
