Im getting it slightly used for a great deal..... Im trading my 3in flowmaster catback str8 up for one. We are swapping them from car to car saturday. I absolutly hate flowmaster on LS1s and have despised flowmaster ever since i installed it on my car so ive been running a cutout ever since... But thats my opinion.... anyway....

How do u like yours? most of all, is it loud? Ill probabily adjust it to as loud as it goes and leave it like that....

And how does it sound versus the Loud mouth and ghhm???

I've had my Borla Exhaust for almost a year. I replaced the y-pipe too. I also installed a power plate so I could adjust the opening from inside on the fly. Usually have it wide open, but it's nice to be able to change it.

I love mine! The only disadvatage is that the individual pieces of the system are really expensive. My husband came out of a steep parking lot that had some uneven cement, and the I-pipe detatched from the y-pipe which jammed against the axle. It cost almost $400 to replace the pieces! I don't have the wide open plates on now that I have LT headers. Oh yeah, it's loud.

I put mine on and i dont even use a plate, STILL quieter then my cutout out was.... Sounds really good though, i bet it will sound better with headers...

Dont have one, but i love the sound, the only real down sides are as mentioned steep replacement parts, The exhaust all coming out of the RR pipe looks a little funny when its cold out, and the way tips sit-the exhaust coming out of them tend to dirty up the rear bumper.

All of these downsides, dont out wiegh the quality asspects of this exhaust though, I only wish i could trade a Flowmaster for a Borla Adjustable Cat-Back.

My buddies LS1 has some head work done, along with long tubes and no cats.... The borla sounded good, but we both agree the flowmaster sounds better with headers and all then the borla did... I was suprised, its a whole new muffler with long tubes.... As far as my Borla goes, i have it wide open and its still not as loud as my cutout was, but it sounds good still..... I dont know if id pay $700 for it, but it is nice. I like the tips alot and you cant beat having stainless steel parts. But if i ever have to replace anything on it costing $300, i will just get a different catback instead.. Not to mention this Borla is still under warrenty.
